Software-defined storage with automatic replication, self-healing and limitless scalability. Ceph experts since 2015 in Valencia.
Ceph is the world's leading distributed storage system. Used by CERN, Bloomberg, Deutsche Telekom and thousands of companies. It provides block, object and file storage in a single unified platform with automatic self-healing.
Block storage for Proxmox/KVM VMs, equivalent to vSAN or iSCSI SAN. Thin provisioning, snapshots and clones.
Distributed POSIX file system for shares, NAS and workloads requiring concurrent access from multiple nodes.
S3/Swift compatible object storage for backups, archival, private CDN and cloud-native applications.
Custom CRUSH maps, OSD tuning, erasure coding vs replication, NVMe/SSD/HDD performance tiers.
Bare metal installation or Proxmox-integrated. Migration from traditional SAN, NFS or local storage.
Grafana/Prometheus dashboard, proactive alerts, 24/7 support. We detect and resolve issues before they impact you.
We scale your cluster with zero downtime. Add nodes, disks or pools hot. Automatic rebalancing.
Answers to the most common questions about our services in Valencia
In Valencia, with the busiest container port in the Mediterranean, the agrifood sector of l'Horta and a fast-growing startup hub, storage stops being a detail once the business grows: a proprietary array that fills up, a vSAN tied to rising licences, or a NAS that becomes a single point of failure. Ceph solves that with distributed storage that replicates data across nodes, self-heals and scales by adding disks, not by swapping arrays.
Our base is in Sant Fruitós de Bages (Catalonia), 317 km away. We do not fake a branch office in Valencia: we design, deploy and operate the Ceph cluster remotely, with the same judgement we use to run our own platform. Replica 3 or erasure coding depending on your case —cost versus resilience versus performance— and the maths done before buying a single disk.
We size the cluster for your real workload: number of nodes, failure domains, dedicated network and replication policy. We do not sell "the maximum of everything": if replica 3 is enough, you do not pay for erasure coding. At 317 km we operate it with our own monitoring (Zabbix) and alerts that matter.
Ceph is the foundation of our production infrastructure, so the tuning —PGs, CRUSH map, recovery— we do with real experience, not by reading the manual. It integrates with Proxmox as a vSAN replacement and with your existing servers, and we hand it over documented, with an owner and an update window.
And once the cluster is running we do not leave it at your door: we operate it, patch it in an agreed window and watch it, so that growing capacity means adding nodes and not rebuilding the whole architecture.
Yes. Ceph is distributed storage with replication across nodes: it replaces a proprietary SAN or vSAN and scales horizontally by adding nodes, without the per-licence cost or the single point of failure of an array.
It depends on the workload. Replica 3 gives maximum resilience and performance for hot data; erasure coding makes capacity cheaper for cold data in exchange for more CPU. We do the maths with your data and choose with judgement.
Yes. Design, deployment and operation are done remotely with 24/7 monitoring; we are 317 km away and physical presence, if the hardware needs it, is planned in writing.
Ceph is designed for that: it replicates and self-heals. If a disk or a node fails, the data stays available and the cluster rebalances on its own. We watch it to act before a fault turns into an outage.
